Blueprint Editor
The Blueprint Editor is an inseparable part of the high-paced and rigidly scheduled world of roadway transportation and delivery logistics. The benefit of the Editor is that it allows you to very flexibly determine the content of the Form for your results.
Configuring the Form
The Form Editor consists of 3 different parts: the Blueprint editor where you create the Form template, The values you enter in the Blueprint editor and the layout. Via search for Blueprint editor list you can create your own Form blueprint. You then fill in the fields as shown in the picture below. After filling in the codeunit, press Initialize Codeunit. Then the fields appear below. You also need to upload an image of a FORM as a template for the visualization. You can use the editor fields and the Top value, Left value, Width and Height to place the fields in your Form.
When you click on preview in your result document header you will see a sample Form layout for this result. The values are retrieved from the result and visualized. In this 'preview mode' you can modify values. It stores these modified values under the Editor standard fields.
These default values of the Form fields can also be linked to customer cards or address cards. You then fill in the blueprint editor code, which Form field it concerns and the value it should contain. When this customer or address is added to your result, these values are automatically added in the Editor standard fields. Note that not all custom fields will actually appear on the Printed Form. This has to do with the layout of the Form.
Printing the Form
To print the Form, use report 11154686. As stated above, it depends on the layout of the report which custom fields actually show up on the printed Form. The layout overrides this, you will then need to create a Custom Layout for this report to make your own rule which Editor default values do need to show up on the printed Form.
Marketplace
Within Marketplace it is possible to initiate the Blueprint Editor. This is done by selecting the Blueprint Editor from the list of available apps.
