3PL Scan Function Location

Overview

This document provides a detailed overview of the functions available in the "3PL Scan Function Location" codeunit. Each function is listed with its purpose and parameters, which can be expanded for more details.

Function List

1. Get location

Purpose: Get location with position.

Parameters
  • 'PARENTLOCATION': Parent Location
  • 'POSITION': Position
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'SHOWERROR': Show Error
  • 'RESETLOC': Empty = Reset LOCATIONNO if not found
  • 'BUILDING': Optional: filter on building
  • 'CHECKPART': Optional: also search string combined with building

2. Get location oldest exp

Purpose: Get location with oldest expiration date.

Parameters
  • 'WMSCUSTITEMNO': WMS Customer Item No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.

3. Check if location exists

Purpose: Controleer of locatie bestaat.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'Message': Message
  • 'POSITION': Position
  • 'BUILDING': Optional: filter on building
  • 'CHECKPART': Optional: also search string combined with building
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Optional for CHECKPART: returns Location No

4. Get no of Carriers on location

Purpose: Aantal dragers per locatie ophalen.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERTYPE': Carrier Type
  • 'CUSTITEMNO': Customer Item No.
  • 'BATCHNO': Batch No.
  • 'CARRIERQTY': Carrier Quantity
  • 'EXPDATE': Expiration Date
  • 'EXTBATCH': External Batch
  • 'EXCLUDELOC': Exclude Location

5. Locatie Fysieke dimensies

Purpose: Retrieve the location Physical Dimensions.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'LENGTH': Length
  • 'WIDTH': Width
  • 'HEIGHT': Height

7. Location for Route

Purpose: Locatie voor route.

Parameters
  • 'ROUTENO': Route No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.

9. Check if not to much on loc

Purpose: Controleer aantal dragers op locatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERQTY': Carrier Quantity
  • 'MAXCARRIERQTY': Maximum Carrier Quantity

10. Get Building User Filter

Purpose: Vestigingsfilter gebaseerd op gebruiker.

Parameters
  • 'USERID': User ID
  • 'BUILDINGFILTER': Building Filter

11. Calc. Location Capacity

Purpose: Bereken locatiecapaciteit.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'CAPACITY': Capacity

13. Update Cycle Count Task Locations

Purpose: Bijwerken locaties op Cycle Count Taken.

Parameters
  • 'TASKNO': Task No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.

14. Get FilterString Sub-loc. based on Parent Loc

Purpose: Filterstring sublocaties obv hoofdlocatie.

Parameters
  • 'PARENTLOC': Parent Location
  • 'FILTERSTRING': Filter String

15. Check if Location is Put-Away

Purpose: Controleer of locatie geschikt is voor opslag.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'ISPUTAWAY': Is Put-Away

16. Check Location Proposition

Purpose: Controleer of van voorstel afgeweken mag worden.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'PROPOSITION': Proposition

17. Check/Create Cycle Counting Task

Purpose: Controleer of cycle counting gewenst is en maak taak indien nodig.

Parameters
  • 'CUSTITEMNO': Optional: Customer Item No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERNO': Optional: Carrier No.
  • 'ENTRYNO': Cycle Counting Task Entry No.
  • 'TASKCREATED': YES/NO showing whether cycle counting task is created
  • 'ALWAYS CREATE': -> Also create when tasks open
  • 'TASK PER ITEM': -> Create single task per Customer item
  • 'ITEMFROMCONTENT': -> Filter on item from content if CUSTITEMNO = empty
  • 'METHODONEMPTY': -> Fixed Method on content = 0
  • 'TASK PER CONT. LINE': Optional: Carrier Content Line No

18. Assign Cycle Counting Task

Purpose: Cycle-countingtaak toewijzen.

Parameters
  • 'ENTRYNO': Cycle Counting Task Entry No.
  • 'DEASSIGN': -> De-assign
  • 'USERID': Optional with de-assign: set userid
  • 'DORELEATED': Optional: Exec same task: item, loc, carrier, method

19. Execute Cycle Counting Task

Purpose: Cycle-countingtaak telling uitvoeren.

Parameters
  • 'ENTRYNO': Cycle Counting Task Entry No.
  • 'QUANTITY': Counted Quantity
  • 'SPECSETID': Optional: Specification set ID
  • 'UNASSIGNANDREOPEN': Optional: Fill value to set old status to open & de-assign
  • 'SETUSERIDASSIGNED': Optional: Set Assigned User ID with this value
  • 'DORELEATED': Optional: Exec same task: item, loc, carrier, method

20. Finish Cycle Counting Task

Purpose: Cycle-countingtaak telling gereedmelden.

Parameters
  • 'ENTRYNO': Cycle Counting Task Entry No.
  • 'ITEMJNLTEMPLATE': Optional: eg. INVENTARIS
  • 'ITEMJNLBATCH': Optional: eg. STANDARD
  • 'AUTOPOST': Optional: Autopost
  • 'FINISH RELATED': -> Also finish related open tasks
  • 'SKIP IF DEVIATION': -> Skip if calc. qty <> qty. inventory
  • 'REASONC': REASONCODE
  • 'SETEXECUTED': Optional: not empty = Set Entry on Executed before processing
  • 'DORELEATED': Optional: Exec same task: item, loc, carrier, method
  • 'FROMLASTRECEIPT': Optional: If content not found retrieve from last receipt

21. Get Actual no. of carriers on location

Purpose: Get actual number of Carriers on a location.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONO': Location No.
  • 'ONLYGROUNDCARRIERS': Empty = FALSE, Filled = TRUE
  • 'CARRIERQTYONLOCATION': Result
  • 'INCLSUBLOC': Optional: Include Sub-location

22. Transfer location carriers

Purpose: Transfer all carriers on location.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONO': Location No.
  • 'NEWLOCATIONNO': New Location No.
  • 'NEWPOSITION': New Position
  • 'ONLYIFDIFF': Only if different
  • 'CHECKIFLOCEXIST': Check if location exists
  • 'JRNLBATCHNAME': Optional: Fill Jrnl Batch Name
  • 'UPDATERELATEDTABLES': Optional: YES or
  • 'UPDATEDETAILLINES': Optional: Update Detaillines. eg 2 or 1|2 (update related tables is mandatory)
  • 'UPDATEWHSEACT': Optional: Update warehouse act. (update related tables is mandatory)
  • 'EXTERNALBATCHFILTER': Optional: External Batch Filter

23. Check if Location is Set up

Purpose: Controleer of locatie aangemerkt is als Klaarzetvak.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'MESSAGE': Message
  • 'NOTEQUAL': Optional: Error if it is a SetupLoc

24. Get information of Location (eg. Zone, Building)

Purpose: Informatie van locatie (oa Zone, Vestiging).

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'ZONE': Zone
  • 'BUILDING': Building
  • 'PARENTLOCNO': Parent Location No.
  • 'TYPECODE': Type Code
  • 'NAME': Name
  • 'EXPEDITIONAREA': Expedition Area
  • 'ATTRIBUTE01': Attribute 01
  • 'ATTRIBUTE02': Attribute 02
  • 'SETUPDOC': Setup Document
  • 'PATH': Location path
  • 'STATUS': Status of Location
  • 'PRODLOC': Production Location

25. Create Cycle Counting Task

Purpose: Maak cycle counting taak.

Parameters
  • 'CUSTITEMNO': Optional: Customer Item No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERNO': Optional: Carrier No.
  • 'ENTRYNO': Cycle Counting Task Entry No.
  • 'TASKCREATED': YES/NO showing whether cycle counting task is created
  • 'ALWAYS CREATE': -> Also create when tasks open
  • 'TASK PER ITEM': -> Create single task per Customer item
  • 'CYCLECOUNT METHOD': Optional: Cycle count method
  • 'COND. CYCLE COUNT': Optional: Condition code Cycle count method
  • 'DOCNO': Optional: Use with COND. CYCLE COUNT
  • 'TASK PER CONT. LINE': Optional: Carrier Content Line No

26. Check Location Restrictions

Purpose: Locatierestricties controleren.

Parameters
  • 'Locationno': Location No.
  • 'ItemNo': Item No.
  • 'CarrierNo': Carrier No.
  • 'Batch': Batch
  • 'CarrierType': Carrier Type
  • 'Item Condition': Item Condition
  • 'Optional: Use Parent if position': Use Parent if position

27. Check Location Contains Only Current Shipment Trip

Purpose: Check if location contains only current shipment trip.

Parameters
  • 'CARRIERNO': Carrier No.
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'RESTR.SHIPM': Restriction Shipment
  • 'ERROR MSG': Error Message

28. Find Free Sub Location

Purpose: Find a free sub-location.

Parameters
  • 'PARENT LOC.': Parent Location
  • 'SORT KEY': Sort Key
  • 'ASCENDING': Ascending
  • 'CARRIER NO.': Carrier No.
  • 'FREE LOC.': Free Location

29. Set Cycle Counting Task Status

Purpose: Set the status of a cycle counting task.

Parameters
  • 'TASK ENTRY NO.': Task Entry No.
  • 'NEW STATUS': New Status
  • 'ONLY IF DIFF': Only if different
  • 'ONLY IF LOWER': Only if lower
  • 'EXCLUDE STATUS': Exclude Status
  • 'REASON CODE': Reason Code
  • 'REASON DESCRIPTION': Reason Description
  • 'DORELEATED': Optional: Exec same task: item, loc, carrier, method

30. Define Cycle Count Difference Allowed

Purpose: Bepaal of Cycle Count verschil toegestaan is.

Parameters
  • 'TASK ENTRY NO.': Cycle Count Entry No
  • 'DIFFERENCE': Difference
  • 'DEFAULTALLOWED': Optional: Default Qty Allowed
  • 'CONDITIONCODE': Condition Code Allowed Qty
  • 'STATUSFILTER': Only allow if Entry has this status
  • 'VALUEALLOWED': Return this value if difference is allowed
  • 'VALUEDECLINED': Return this value if difference not allowed
  • 'RESULT': Returns the result
  • 'VALUEALLOWEDPOS': Return this value if difference positive correction is allowed
  • 'VALUEALLOWEDNEG': Return this value if difference negative correction is allowed

31. Set Location Group Status

Purpose: Locatiegroep status instellen.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATION NO.': Location No.
  • 'LOC. GROUP TYPE': Location group type to update status
  • 'STATUS': New status: 0=; 1=Open; 2=Closed
  • 'MASTERLOC GROUP TYPE': Master location group type to update other location groups
  • 'STATUS OTHER': New status other location groups within master location group

32. Print ZPL Label from Location

Purpose: Print ZPL Label van Locatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'LAYOUTCODE': ZPL Layout
  • 'LABELCOUNT': No. of Labels
  • 'PRINTERCODE': Printer Code

39. Check if Location equals Doc.Loc

Purpose: Controleer of locatie = document locatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'DOCNO': Document Number
  • 'TRIPNO': Calculated Trip No
  • 'MESSAGE': Message
  • 'SKIPIFLOCNOTSETUP': Skip check if locations are not setup-locs
  • 'BUILDINGFILTER': Optional: Only for this building

40. Check if Location is Dock

Purpose: Controleer of locatie aangemerkt is als Dock.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'MESSAGE': Message
  • 'SKIPIFEMPTY': Skip check if empty
  • 'REVERSE': Error if location IS dock

41. Get Cycle Counting Task Entryno

Purpose: Cycle-countingtaak Entryno ophalen.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Filter by LocationNo, if empty: Carrierno is mandatory
  • 'CUSTITEMNO': Optional: filter tasks by Cust.Item No
  • 'CARRIERNO': Filter by CarrierNo, if empty: Locationno is mandatory
  • 'ENTRYNO': Returns EntryNo, if nothing found EntryNo=0

42. Check Carrier not Allowed on Pickloc

Purpose: Controleer of drager niet is toegestaan op picklocatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERNO': Carrier No.
  • 'ALLOWIFFIXED': Allow if location is fixed pick location for carrier content
  • 'SPECZONE': Optional: only check for this specific zone

43. Delete EntryNo in Cycle Count Table

Purpose: Verwijderen van Cycle Count Taak.

Parameters
  • 'ENTRYNO': Entry No.
  • 'CONFIRM': Confirm deletion

44. Check if location exists With Building No

Purpose: Controleer of locatie bestaat met Building Nr.

Parameters
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.
  • 'BUILDINGNO': Building No.

45. Check Carrier Allowed on Pickloc

Purpose: Controleer of drager is toegestaan op picklocatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'CARRIERNO': Carrier No.
  • 'ALLOWIFFIXED': Allow if location is fixed pick location for carrier content
  • 'SPECZONE': Optional: only check for this specific zone

46. Set Status Of Location

Purpose: Zet de status van de locatie.

Parameters
  • 'LOCNO': Location No.
  • 'STATUS': New Status

47. Scan Dock or Pallet on Dock to check loc

Purpose: Scan Dock or Pallet on Dock to check location.

Parameters
  • 'DOCKNO': Dock No.
  • 'PALLETNO': Pallet No.

48. Get Available Qty from Carrier Content

Purpose: Aantal Beschikbaar van dragerinhoud.

Parameters
  • 'CARRIERNO': Carrier No.
  • 'AVAILABLEQTY': Available Quantity

50. Get UserId last count Cycle Count Task

Purpose: Verkrijg UserID laatste telling Cycle Count Task.

Parameters
  • 'TASKNO': Task No.
  • 'USERID': User ID

51. Assign Cycle Counting Task by filter

Purpose: Cycle-countingta(a)k(en) toewijzen.

Parameters
  • 'FILTER': Filter
  • 'USERID': User ID

52. De-assign Cycle Counting Task by filter

Purpose: Cycle-countingta(a)k(en) ontkoppelen.

Parameters
  • 'FILTER': Filter
  • 'USERID': User ID

55. Update CYC Qty. Calculated Based on CC

Purpose: Werk CYC Qty. Calculated bij met CC.

Parameters
  • 'CARRIERNO': Carrier No.
  • 'CALCULATEDQTY': Calculated Quantity

56. Get Location from Coordinates

Purpose: Locatie berekenen o.b.v. coördinaten.

Parameters
  • 'COORDINATES': Coordinates
  • 'LOCATIONNO': Location No.

59. Get Customer Item Location Capacity

Purpose: Get the fixed location capacity of a customer item (Max. No. of HU, Max. Stacking Height and Stacking Method) for a location type and handling unit type, as set up on Cust. Item Loc. Capacity. The return values are empty when no capacity line exists.

Parameters
  • 'ITEMNO': Item No.
  • 'LOCATIONTYPE': Location Type Code
  • 'CARRIERTYPE': Carrier Type Code (the system automatically detects the carrier type group)
  • 'MAXHU': Return value: Max. HU
  • 'MAXHUHEIGHT': Return value: Max. HU Height
  • 'STACKINGMETHOD': Return value: Stacking Method
