Conditions

To setup several options to send information to Transsmart, implementing Conditions.

Description of usage

Transsmart requires a unique reference per Shipment, known as TSREF. Most of our Customers use Shipment Number (U24...), some implemented Externals Document Number or any other reference.
In other words, it is preferred to be enabled to implement a reference, that suits you, your process and your customer's information.

One way to approach this, is to have the customer to send in the referencenumber in the RCV-Shipment. This unique reference can be placed (with the Condition Code TSREF) in the Conditions section.

Another is tosetup the Condition TSREF in 3PL Dynamics and refer to a data field of the Shipment Document. Two examples:

  1. Setup for Document Number: on the Condition TSREF set table to 11154660 (3PL Document Header) and field to number 2.
  2. Setup for External Document Number: on the Condition TSREF set table to 11154660 (3PL Document Header) and field to number 120.

Note: It will work for TMS Document Header as well.

By following these examples, you can apply every field of the Shipment Document to be used as TSREF. You only need to be sure the data of that field provides you with a unique Shipment identifier.

To set the Condition with the actual value of a Shipment, setup of the Status Function 11154680 – 383 is required in an early stage of the Shipment Status Template.

Services for Revenue and Cost

Transsmart can provide you with information about prices of the actual shipping. It concerns both the prices for sales and for the purchase. It is possible to implement this information in your Shipment as either Revenue or Cost lines. You only need to implement the following Conditions in addtion to your Transsmart Setup:

There is a need to implement distincted services because of application of VAT.
