TMS Section Cost and Revenue Calculation methods
General
In TMS, there are several ways to calculate costs and revenues for sections. This allows revenues and costs per trip to be determined. As a result, trip yield could be presented.
Calculation events
Calculation is started during the following events
- 11172845 "3PL Status Functions TMS" Function ID 40 Estimated, Revised and Recalculation
- 11154895 "3PL Steps Functions TMS" Step ID 29 Estimated, Revised and Recalculation
Methods
The next methods are supported:
- (Un) Loading section
- Specific section
- Equally per section
- Ratio assigned costs
- By section distance
- Carbon footprint
(Un) Loading Section
Purpose
The aim of this method is to assign cost and/or revenues for 100% to the load or unloading section
Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
SECTIONIDENTIFIER | Section Identifier (<=Loading, >=Unloading) |
Specific Section
Purpose
The aim of this method is to assign cost and/or revenues for 100% to a specific section
Parameters
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
SECTION SEQ. | Section Sequence |
Equally per Section
Purpose
The aim of this method is to assign cost and/or revenues equally to available sections.
Parameters
No parameters are needed
Ratio assigned costs
Purpose
The aim of this method is to assign revenues on ratio of assigned costs
Parameters
No parameters are needed
By Section Distance
Purpose
The aim of this method is to assign cost and/or revenues based on mileage per section.
note: this method can only be chosen if kilometers are calculated by a distance calculator as PTV or otherwise.
Parameters
