Inventory Classification

Available Inventory

Available inventory represents stock that is ready for allocation to customer orders, transfers, or other warehouse operations. This inventory is physically present in the warehouse and not restricted by any blocks or assignments.

Blocked Inventory

Blocked inventory refers to stock that cannot be used for regular operations due to quality concerns, inspection requirements, or administrative holds. Blocked inventory remains in the system but is excluded from available quantities until the block is removed.

Assigned Inventory

Assigned inventory is stock that has been allocated to specific documents such as shipments, transfers, or VAL orders, but has not yet been physically picked. This inventory is considered reserved and is not available for other operations.
