Handling Unit Milestone
The Handling Unit Milestone List combines a handling unit's crossdock history at a warehouse building with its related transport context — order, trip, activity events, and irregularities — in a single worksheet. Use it to track or audit where and when a handling unit passed through a crossdock building, and what happened to the order or trip it belongs to.
Overview
Handling Unit Milestone helps you:
- See a handling unit's crossdock arrivals and departures together with its order, trip, and device activity events
- Filter by date range, handling unit, document, customer, plan department/box, or department
- Choose whether to include warehouse crossdock history, device activity events, or both
- Drill down to the related order, trip, address, source entry, or irregularities
Look up handling unit milestones
- Choose the
icon, enter Handling Unit Milestone List, and then choose the related link. - Set the filters you need. The following table describes key fields.
- Choose Collect Data to load the matching records.

| Handling Unit No. / External Handling Unit No. | Filter to a specific handling unit, by its internal number or scanned barcode. |
| Document No. | Filter to a specific order. |

| Plan Department / Plan Box No. / Department | Filter to a specific part of your organization. |
| Source Type | Whether to include Handling Unit History (warehouse crossdock arrivals/departures), Device Activities (transport device events), or both (All). |
Tip
Your filters are remembered per user, so the page reopens with the same filters you used last time.
Understand the results
Each row is either a warehouse crossdock event or a device activity event for a handling unit, together with the order and trip it's related to.
- Choose the value in Document No. or Trip No. to open the related order or trip.
- Choose the value in Source Entry No. to open the underlying record the row came from.
- Choose the value in No. of Order Irregularities or No. of Trip Irregularities to open the related irregularities.
Note
External Handling Unit No. is automatically filled in from the order's carrier lines when the warehouse history doesn't have a reliable value for it — so this column reliably shows the number you can scan, not just the internal system number.
Capture crossdock timestamps while scanning
To record when a handling unit actually arrives at or leaves a crossdock building, set up a dedicated Event Milestone (for example "Crossdock Arrival") and use it with:
- Scan function Set Milestone Actual Date/Time — records the actual date/time for that milestone on an order, from a scan flow.
- Scan function Get Milestone Actual Date/Time — reads back the actual date/time already recorded for that milestone.
- Function set function GET MILESTONE DT — reads a milestone's date/time (actual, estimated, or updated) for use in other configured functions, for example on a report or in an agreement calculation.
