Set the Update Time Window for Your Business Central Environment
As a Boltrics customer, you can define the time window during which Boltrics and Microsoft are allowed to apply updates to your Business Central environment. This helps ensure updates occur outside of your core business hours and minimizes operational disruptions.
The update time window is configured in the Business Central Admin Center. You can define:
- Time zone
- Start time
- End time
(The window must be at least 6 hours long.)
This setting applies to all Microsoft platform updates and Boltrics updates. It will also be visible in the Boltrics customer list and related update tasks.
How to Change the Update Window
To adjust the update window:
Open the Business Central Admin Center
Go to:
https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/admin

Please note that the updated time window will only apply to future update runs It will not affect the time window of an already scheduled update.
Note
Boltrics uses a structured 4-week update rhythm, but you can reschedule each update to occur between 2 and 8 weeks after your last one.
