Party Template

General

On documents additional Parties may be involved, for example the airline and agent on a FMS Air Export document or the carrier on a TMS Trip document. By setting up a party template, additional information can be shown in the Party-factbox of a document.

Functionality

Per documenttype a Party Template can be set. On the subpage a code, line-no and Description can be set. All other fields are partyfields and when containing a value a line on the document Party-factbox will be created.

Note

By the field Party Template Code on the Ordertype the Party-factbox lines will be added to documents containing this ordertype.

Step function Generic, function 7 Create email advancedcan be used to send emails from any type of document. This step function can be used in combination with parties or mail groups.

Example Party Template - TMS Trip

When an ordertype, containing a party-template-code, is filled in the trip the Party-fact-box on the trip will show lines automatically. When a carrier has been added to the trip in the tab: Resource/Outsourcing, the information on this carrier will appear in the Party-fact-box-line: Transport. The party-fact-box-line: Contactperson will not contain information automatically. By clicking on this line a selection page will open with the carrier-contacts. Double-click on a contatperson to add the information to the party-fact-box-line.
