General

Using different order types allows orders to move through the process in different ways. Also, the order type can affect the revenue determination. For each company, 1 or more order types will need to be set up. Which ones and how many depends greatly on the nature of the company.

Functionality

Important fields

• Order No's: By applying unique No-series per order type each order type will have a seperate No. Serie.
• Order Status Template: By applying an unique status template per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow.
• Section Status Template: By applying unique status templates per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow.
• Trip Status Template: By applying unique status templates per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow.
• POD Mandatory for invoicing: If not set on the tab: Transport on the page: customer this value will be applied when creating a new order.
• Party Template code: The Party Template Code will be applied when a new document is created.
• Event Milestones Template: The Event & Milestones Tempalte applicable on the order type.
