Order Type

General

Using different order types allows orders to move through the process in different ways. Also, the order type can affect the revenue determination. For each company, 1 or more order types will need to be set up. Which ones and how many depends greatly on the nature of the company.

Functionality

Important Fields	Description
Order No's	By applying unique No-series per order type each order type will have a seperate No. Serie
Order Status Template	By applying unique status templates per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow
Section Status Template	By applying unique status templates per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow
Trip Status Template	By applying unique status templates per order type each order type will have a seperate status-flow
POD Mandatory for invoicing	If not set on the tab: Transport on the page: customer this value will be applied when creating a new order
Party Template code	The Party Template Code will be applied when a new document is created
