Quantity calculations
Quantity calculations can be configured according to the Business requirements.
There is a library of standard functions you can use in the forwarding app:
| Name | Description |

| Fixed | Used for fixed / lumpsum amounts, the calculated quantity will be 1. |
| Total Quantity | Used to calculate the total number of Outer or Inner Packages |
| Gross Weight / Net Weight | The total weight of a shipment will be calculated. |
| Volumetric Weight | Used to calculate the Volumetric weight of the shipment. |
| Chargeable Weight | Used to calculate the chargeable weight of the shipment. |
| Volume | Used to calculate the total Volume of the Shipment |
| Custom Volume | Used to calcute the volume based on the dimensions. With the functions parameters a minimum width and division factor can be specified. |
| Per Container | Used to calculate the total number of containers of the shipment. The Equipment type filter parameter can be used to calculate specific container types, for example the number of 40 Ft Reefer Containers. |
| Chargeable weight | The Payable weight (see Order-factbox:Order) will be used as base quantity. The system automatically determines the payweight on the max(actual-weight and loadingmetres*factor). |
Warning
Think carefully when changing an existing Quantity calculation, as the calculation might be used in many existing contracts.
