Warehouse Setup

The Warehouse Setup is the core Setup table of the Warehouse Module. Below are the fields explained which are important to mention.

Post in the future allowed

Provides the possibilty to post Documents in the future. So for example you can post a shipment on friday with as 'posting date' the date of monday. Not recommended to use this way of working.

Weight Validation

Specifies the validation priority when entering net, gross and tarra weight. Auto: Adjust tarra weight if both gross and net weight are filled. Tarra: Retain tarra weight if possible.

Use Receipt Handling Unit No.

Highly recommended to enable this setting. If enabled, the Handling Unit No from the Receipt will be stored as the Source Handling Unit No., so that Orderpick Content can be linked to the correct Handling Unit. If you already have an running environment don't change this field without testing your processes in an test environment. Only new received inventory will have the field Source Handling Unit No populated.
