General
Regions are one of the first topics to set up because they are used in areas Both the region and areas are needed for planning(Planboxes) and contracts.
Functionality
Regions and areas are useful for categorize sections for Contract calculation and Plan purposes. Regions are needed to build areas. Selecting a type automatically makes the appropriate columns accessible on the lines.
[!Notes]
- Once the regionlines have been inserted it is not possible to change the type on the region header.
- The code of region will be shown in red if a region does not contain any lines.
Tip
- Adding multiple lines can be done effectively by selecting and copying the first line. Then open/paste it into Excel. Add the remaining lines in Excel and finally copy and paste all fields, except the titles, into 3PL Dynamcis.
