Region

General

Set up regions early, because they are the building blocks of areas. Both regions and areas are needed for planning (plan boxes), section configurations, routing, and contracts.

Functionality

Regions and areas categorize sections for contract calculation and planning. Regions are needed to build areas. Selecting a type automatically makes the appropriate columns accessible on the lines.

Note

• Once the regionlines have been inserted it is not possible to change the type on the region header.
• The code of region will be shown in red if a region does not contain any lines.

Tip

• To add many lines quickly, select the first line and copy it. Paste it into Excel, add the remaining lines, and then copy all fields, except the titles, back into 3PL Dynamics.
