Equipment Type
Equipment Types categorize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment. Use equipment types to organize equipment, analyze performance, and manage warehouse operations.

Equipment Types help you:
- Group similar equipment for better organization
- Analyze activity performance by equipment type
- Generate reports based on equipment categories
- Support resource planning and allocation
Equipment Types are linked to Warehouse Equipment records. The Equipment Type is automatically tracked when equipment is used during warehouse activities, enabling performance analysis and reporting by equipment category.
Set up equipment types
- Choose the
icon, enter Equipment Type List, and then choose the related link. - Fill in the fields as necessary. The following table describes key fields.

Common equipment types include FORKLIFT (standard forklifts), REACH (reach trucks for high-level picking), PALLET (manual or electric pallet jacks), ORDER (order picker trucks), VNA (very narrow aisle trucks), SCANNER (handheld scanning devices), and TRUCK (delivery or loading trucks).
