Dimension Values

General

The Dimension Values contains a list of values that applies to a Dimension.

Some Examples of Dimension Values often used by Transport companies:

Dimension	Values
Department	The list of Departments) applicable.
Plan Departments	The list of Plan Departments applicable.
Cost Centre	The list of Trucksregistration Numbers applicable.

Functionality

Actions

• New: Adds a new record above the selected Dimension Value.
• Edit List: Changes to edit-modus.
• Delete: Deletes the selected Dimension Value.
• Actions: Opens the menu: Actions
  • Functions: Opens the menu: Functions
    • Indent Dimension Values: Indents the values between a Begin-total and matching End-total to make the list easier to read.
    • Where used list: Will open a page showing the tables/fields on which the Dimension Value is applicable.

Fields

• Code: The unique code of the Dimension Value.
• Name: The name of the Dimension Value.
• Dimension Value Type: Options: Standard(Normal value), Heading(Grouping), Begin-total(start of range), End-Total(End of range total), Total(Calculated total).
• Totaling: Enter a filter for lines containing the Dimension Value Type: End-Total or Total.
• Blocked: Specifies that the *Dimension is blocked from being posted in financial Transactions.
