Device Activity Mapping Function List
General
Mapping functions can be configured to set up a mapping determination on a field received in a DI message: RCV-DEVICE-ACTIVITY.
Mapping functions can be split in two groups:
- Basic mapping, a value can be extracted directly from the original message. For example, an activity code, vehicle number or an order number.
- Advanced mapping, when a value extracted from the original message has to be converted in a value which can be processed by 3PL Dynamics. See page: Device Activity Mapping.
The page: Device Mapping Function List can be opened when clicking in the field: Mapping Function on the page: Mapping Configuration, which can be openend when clicking on the action: Edit in the tab: Mapping on the page: Device Activity Configuration.

| Edit List | Changes from view to Edit-modus. |

Fields

| Code | A unique code for the mapping function. |
| Description | A description for the mapping function. |
| Source Table | The table on which the mapping is applicable. Options: - Device Activity - Device Activity Order - Device Activity Event - Device Activity Carrier - Device Activity Order Event - Device Activity Carrier Event. |
| Function Set | A function Set can be configured to extract a value from a external field value. For example: Copy String. |
