Irregularity

General

During the execution of a transport order all kinds of events can take place that require attention. The functionality: Irregularities can help to record and manage these events at any level within a transport order or trip. An example of an irregulatity is an address not opened for receiving goods or an order being delivered to late due to specific circumstances.

Not every event has the same impact. For quick handling of irregularities insight in impact levels is necessary. This can be done by determining a default impact level for each type of irregularity.

By providing the irregularities with a clear type code it is also possible to assign groups of irregularities to certain departments.

Irregularities are provided with the 3PL status and step functionality allowing quick follow-up of the irregularity.
