Use the Customer Service page
The Trip - Customer Service page gives you a read-only overview of a single trip. Use it to see where a trip stands, which orders are on it, and which device activities were reported, for example when a customer asks about a delivery. It isn't a menu page. You can't change data on it, but you can drill down to the related records.
Open the page
Open the page from the trip you want to follow. Choose Customer Service (Ctrl+Q) on any of these pages:
- Trip list or card
- Section list or card (available when the section is on a trip)
- Irregularities list (available when the irregularity is linked to a trip)
- Visual planning (the action opens the page for the selected trip)
For more information about the planning screens, see Visual planning and Visual planning timeline.
Follow the trip
The page has these parts:
- Trip Stops lists the stops of the trip with the sections (orders) that belong to each stop. The columns show the planned and actual dates and times. Select an address to open its card, or an order number to open the order.
- A map shows the route of the trip. When you select a section, the map also shows the route of that section.
- Handling Units lists the orders and handling units for the selected stop, with quantity, weights, and status. Choose Details to open the handling unit.
- Device Activities lists the activities reported by devices for the selected handling unit.
Rows for a stop that is ready are shown in a subordinate style. Select a different row to refresh the other parts.
See irregularities
The Irregularity Level column shows the highest impact level of the irregularities on a section: information, warning, or error. Select the value to open the irregularities for that section. For more information, see Irregularity.
Use the factboxes
The factboxes next to the page show:
- Trip Details: the trip number, planned start and end, plan department, the assigned resources, and the from and to addresses.
- Trip Conditions: the driver name and driver contact information.
- Event Attributes: the property and value pairs of the selected device activity.
- Section Record Links: record links of the selected section.
