New Company TMS

General

This page contains instructions on how to create a new company in 3PL and how to setup the basis setting by installing apps from the 3PL Market Place.

Functional

The following steps will guide the user in creating a new company and appling the basic settings.

Note

On a complete new installation of 3PL the steps 1 and 2 can be skipped.

Step 1. Add a new company

1. Go to the page: Companies
2. Click on the action: New
3. Enter a value in the cell: Name
4. Enter a value in the cell: Display Name.

Step 2. Switch company

1. Click on: the Settings
2. Click on: My Settings
3. Click on the look-up button: Company
4. Select the required Company
5. Confirm with: OK

Step 3. Install Basic setup

1. Click on: Get started
2. Click on: Start
3. Click on: Next
4. Select only the Default Setup and click on: Next
5. Do no install WMS-demo data and click on: Next
6. Confirm the Default Setup and click on: Next
7. Complete the wizard by clicking on: Finish

Step 4. Install TMS Basic setup from 3PL Marketplace

1. Open page: 3PL Market Place
2. Select the app: TMS Basic Setup
3. Click on: Activate and confirm with Yes.

Step 5. Install other TMS apps from 3PL Marketplace

On 3PL Marketplace extra apps can be found for specific functionality or demo-data.

1. Search on: TMS to view the list of apps available for TMS.

Type	APP	Description
Functionality	TMS Address Management	A basic setup to implement Address Management.
Functionality	TMS Driver APP	The Driver-app, to send and receive trip-information to mobile devices.
Functionality	TMS Message Configuration Transpas Enterprice	A set of message-configurations to be used when outsourcing trips to carriers who can receive transport-orders in a Transpas Enterprice format.
Functionality	TMS PTV Route Optimizer Integration	A set of message-configurations to be used when sending Orders/sections to PTV Route Optimizer and receiving trips from PTV Route Optimizer.
Demo data	TMS Masterdata	Containing various Addresses, Contacts, Customers, Resources and Vendors.
Demo data	TMS Areas and Regions	Containing the following demo-data: Areas: from NL to EU-countries(based on 2-digit postcodes). Regions: EU-Countries(based on 2-digit postcodes) and NL(based on 24 regions).
Demo data	TMS Routing	Containing the following demo-data: Departments, Plandepartments, Plan Boxes(collections & deliveries NL(based on 24 regions) and Section Configuration(based on Demo Depot Boltrics).
Demo data	TMS Contract Strategy	Containing the following demo-data: Sales contract NL to EU-countries based on postcode(2digit) and Sales contract Linked Orders.
